Head of Operations, Grey Horse Communications
(Sept 2021 - July 2024)
• Lead operations for an agile, distributed team of communications professionals focusing on women, journalism, and tech clients. Handle hiring, project assignments, business processes, and general project management across a dozen clients and five direct reports (writers, designers, social, and account managers).

• Achieved significant increases in staff and client happiness, responsiveness, and overallcompany cohesion while still acting as Executive Producer for client projects. Saw 95% client contract completion and a 75% jump in agency billable hours.
Executive Producer, Grey Horse Communications
(May 2019 - present)
• Served as effective Head of Communications across a number of high-profile clients in entertainment, journalism, and the arts. Managed strategy, storytelling, crisis communications,and press outreach. Noted for excellent client management, response, and content strategy skills.

• Created the events practice for a boutique PR firm, providing production services to clients as well as managing in-house events series. Successful projects have included a press event withHillary Clinton, a UNICEF movie launch, a workshop series with Google News Initiative and Chalkbeat, and the #FreeBrittney movement. These offerings allowed Grey Horse to take on new clients as well as expand services for existing customers.

• Pivoted to virtual platforms during COVID-19 pandemic, allowing company to continue producing popular events. Projects included Clean Creatives’ F-List Awards (won two Shorty Impact Awards as well as Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas) and a journalism workshop series for Google News Initiative and Chalkbeat.

• Produced and managed content development and releases for client and internal marketing and press, including press releases, videos, audio, social campaigns, and website builds.
Head of Production, Corra Films
(May 2016 - May 2019)
• Ran the production department of a busy commercial and documentary studio producing content in all forms from concept to delivery. Project included broadcast ads and content forMercedes-Benz USA and NYC Department of Health, the feature documentary Unlocked, and narrative shorts and web series.

• Created production budgets (~$500-750k), schedules, and presentations to secure commercial projects; hired and oversaw all crew; liaised with clients and post-production team from bidding through finishing; and assisted accounting staff through final paperwork. Produced roughly 50pieces of content per year, while exceeding profit margin goals, maintaining relationships with repeat clients, mentoring newer staff, and ensuring that content was seen by millions of viewers in 20+ countries.
Production Manager, Corra Films
(March 2010 - May 2016)
• Managed production of 100+ broadcast advertising and branded content campaigns. Traveled with crew to coordinate all logistics, cast, and budget items, successfully translating director’s vision into action. All spots delivered on time with average 33% profit margin.

• Hired and managed team of office, production, and post-production staff and freelancers.Restructured hiring practices to focus on staff retention and results. Oversaw general overhead of company, including office, financial and editorial staff.

• Associate Producer for Farewell to Hollywood (feature documentary, 2014). Kept film moving on schedule and on budget while successfully meeting travel and equipment needs of LA-based crew. Managed international festival run and secured theatrical distribution deal. Consistently generated and carried out ideas for web presence, design and marketing.
